Training Academy

Through our partnership with Staffordshire University, we not only provide training, we also provide Council staff with formal qualifications via the QAA National Framework.

Our training increases the skills of Recovery Teams.  Management feedback also highlights an uplift in morale and motivation due to the qualifications achieved by their staff.

3^rd Sector Training

We provide training and engagement sessions to CABs and 3^rd sector organisations countrywide, including such modules as:

• Working practices
• Legislation & compliance
• Vulnerability identification & management
• Partnership working
• Q&A/feedback workshops

Following training with a Yorkshire CAB, complaints from this channel reduced significantly.  CAB Advisors understood the legality and fairness of our approach, worked with us to resolve enquiries without formal complaints and could discuss TCOG more effectively.
