Emma Watson

Head of Bids and Marketing

Career Highlights

Emma Watson brings a wealth of experience to Rundles, having joined as Head of Bid and Marketing in January 2025. Her career in enforcement began at Capita in 2012, followed by a move to Bristow & Sutor in 2019. Emma also spent two years in business process outsourcing, supporting central government projects, before returning to the enforcement sector with Rundles—a move that reflects her passion for making a positive impact in a challenging industry.

Leadership at Rundles

In her current role, Emma is responsible for:

  • Leading the bidding process and crafting compelling proposals
  • Enhancing Rundles’ market presence through targeted campaigns
  • Collaborating with teams across the business to drive innovation and growth
  • Working with charity partners to design Social Value schemes that benefit local communities

Emma is recognised for her hands-on, collaborative approach. She encourages open communication, values feedback, and is always ready to get involved wherever she can add value. Her leadership style embodies Rundles’ “Resolve Together. As One Team.” ethos, fostering collective success and a supportive environment.

Achievements and Recognition

Some of Emma’s key achievements include:

  • Establishing the Colleague Focus Group to drive internal engagement
  • Streamlining and improving the bidding process
  • Developing new charity partnerships
  • Launching the highly praised Rundles Learning Conferences

Emma is motivated by the knowledge that, even in a difficult industry, Rundles always strives to do the right thing.

Life Beyond Work

Outside of work, Emma is a dedicated mum to two daughters, volunteers as a chaperone at their dance school, and has recently started learning tap dance. She also enjoys Zumba and taking the family caravan away for weekends and holidays.

We asked Emma...

I’m putting the kettle on. What are you having?

Black coffee please!

What’s the most unusual job you’ve ever had (before this one)?

I used to manage a programme to test cars and vans that had been converted to run on LPG (long before the electric car days!)

If you could swap roles with anyone at Rundles for a day, who would it be and why?

Alex Stanyon, our Head of Allocations, I’d like to think that it would improve my geography!

What’s your go-to productivity hack or ritual?

Knowing when you are at your most productive is key, I’ve realised that I’m much better suited to early mornings, so my colleagues regularly see emails from me at 7am….an email after 17:30 is much less likely!

If you could instantly master any skill (work or life), what would it be?

I’d love to be able to play the piano or guitar and sing!
