Alex Francis joined Rundles 17 years ago as an Enforcement Agent and immediately felt the strong sense of team that makes the company unique. From the start, Alex valued Rundles’ commitment to looking after its people and creating a culture where individuals are more than just numbers. This ethos inspired Alex to stay and grow within the business, moving into strategic roles to share experience and drive improvement.

Today, Alex leads Client Performance & Business Improvement. He continually reviews client performance to ensure collections are optimised and collaborates closely with the operational leads to make improvements that deliver additional revenue for our clients and a better experience for our customers.

In the current role, Alex is responsible for:

  • Reviewing client performance to maximise collections
  • Using Business Intelligence (BI) to inform strategy and improve outcomes
  • Leading Operational teams to refine delivery across customer segments
  • Driving continuous improvement through data-led decisions and mentoring colleagues

Alex thrives on curiosity and challenge, encouraging colleagues to ask questions and embrace change. This inquisitive approach ensures processes work as they should and supports a culture of continual improvement.

What’s your favourite thing about the Rundles team?

Every single person regardless of their position is 100% committed and available to support each other, we really are a great team.

What’s one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?

I’m obsessed with aeroplanes and previously completed all my Ground School for my private pilot’s license. I never completed enough hours in the air to quality.
